How did your past year in the cinema sound? Mine sounded bloody fantastic!
As part of my write up the best cinema and cinema-ephemera of 2015 I've mixed my favourite tracks from the year's best film scores. The synthesiser was the undoubted star of movie music in 2015, though a handful of exceptionally strong orchestral scores did creep in, along with energetic, exciting experiments by artists like Atticus Ross and Johnny Greenwood.
Which great film music from 2015 have I left out? (Note that I've only counted releases in UK cinemas for 2015, so no Ennio Morricone or Ryuichi Sakamoto until the 2016 mix drops.
