The Tahtierava of Death

The Tahtierava of Death

The Tahtierava of Death by Cameron Day; Read by Margie Valine; Music by Brent Brown; Art by Here&there

I remember many years ago, when I was a photographer. I was working in the Montana mountains at 11,000 feet. On my second day there I was still not acclimated, but work needed to be done. There I was, wading through crotch deep snow in a high end snow suit and wondering:Why am I here? However this was no philosophical question. Oh no. My brain was so starved for o2 that I wanted to know what I was supposed to be doing at that moment. Well that was hardly a Big question, …A Big question would have been: “Why am I here- wondering about the cosmos and my place in it.”

Tonight we have one of those big questions:  What if a way might be found to never die; to live forever?  Wouldn’t that be fantastic? Of course…but wait. But…no one lives in a vacuum. We are all interconnected whether we want to be or not. So... Immortality...At what cost?  Not only to yourself but to everyone aroun
