Over the past few years, the 76ers have added a fair amount of international players to their roster. Dario Saric, for instance, was acquired in 2014, while Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot and Furkan Korkmaz were drafted in 2016. This past year, the team used picks on Anzejs Pasecniks, Jonah Bolden, and Mathias Lessort.
Jonathan Tjarks of The Ringer has taken notice of this trend, which led him to highlight the Sixers’ international talent in a recent article.
On this September 14th edition of The BroadCast, Tjarks talks about Korkmaz’s and Saric’s performances in EuroBasket 2017, his impressions of Bolden, and what what he expects from the Sixers in the upcoming season.
