Hey everyone- to all of you who have been asking when we'll be doing more shows- I'm afraid that the answer is, not for a while. I did want to let you all know that the spirit of the radio show is very much alive in a series of ongoing playlists that I have been curating, I update them all frequently & the one that is most like our show is a Free-Form mix called "Head Trip". Check them all out here & happy listening & please, if you like them help us spread the word to anyone else you think might enjoy them: https://www.sixdegreesrecords.com/playlists/

I'm with DJ UMB . . . this is a great mix. Only accolades, not apologies, are due.

Great Music Bob..F**k the mixing..mixing don't mean shit to great musical taste & a lot of dj's who can mix often have very poor & narrow musical taste <3

Hi Andrew- Our philosophy with Six Degrees Traveler is that it is a radio show, not a beat matched DJ mix. We approach the show in a spontaneous manner and record on pretty primitive equipment (The CD players have no variable speed settings etc.) We don't go back and fix mistakes- you hear the show, as it was recorded in one pass by one guy who would never characterize himself as a hot shot DJ.- just a music fanatic that is excited about sharing with other music fanatics. The result is that yes, occasionally we have some clunky mixes, we also often have moments of beautiful, transcendent juxtapositions of musics that you would never imagine would blend together. Both scenarios come with the turf and most of our listeners are fine with that. I am truly sorry that you found the mixing of this week's show so distracting that you felt the need to "call me out" about it but of course you are entitled to your opinion and to state it here. I freely admit that this week's show was all about the funky tunes and not about the mixing- I hope that you will give some of our other shows a listen some time-

Andrew Booth

Hard to believe that someone with such taste and access to good music can ruin the "mix" by blending so badly. @ 6.47 & 13.38 we hear more than 10 seconds of clashing beats
