Playing tracks by
James Brown & Martha High, Nicolas Jaar, Photek, Skream, Jose James and more.
The first mix for March starts off with a jazzy version of Summertime by James Brown and Nicolas Jaar's I got a woman (sampling Ray Charles). Then it picks up the pace with Photek's classic UFO, Skream slow d&b Burnin' and the excellent Joy Orbison remix of Blackmagic. Then it goes into a housey direction with Nebraska (really love his tracks for Rush Hour - probably the best Dutch label ever), a classic Moodymann track with An American Poem by Those Guys on top, some dubby techno by STL & Maurizio (amazing how up-to-date his tracks still sound) and some classic Reggae & dub sounds from Trojan. To end things up we have Kode 9 & Space Ape's acoustic nightmare Sine. Enjoy.
