As always a rather eclectic mix, starting with a track from Falty DL's debut for mu-ziq's label. Next up is all-time house classic Ma Foom Bey and a Phil Asher remix from a couple of years ago. The Young Lovers track still sounds fresh after all this time. Generally I'm not a big fan of the thing called jazz-house because often it just means the track features a jazz sample. Then we move on to the electronic beats segment. Sam ala Bamalot is a Dutch producer who got a track on Gilles Peterson's show a couple of weeks ago. Really talented, this guy. Mizz Beats' latest album features this melancholic track. Next up is a Four Tet remix which has been out there for a while and is in the same style as his latest album. The mix closes with a RadioSlave track (I really like his minimal funky style), a funky Larry Heard remix of a Moodymanc track and the latest Oliverwho Factory track. Enjoy!
