One of the many jobs I had before I went into the ministry was in a suburb of Boston at a home for developmentally disabled adults who had committed crimes. This was a kind of halfway house intended to help these men transition from prison and learn to live on their own in the community. My work schedule was the best one I ever had in my life. I arrived at this home on Friday afternoon at 5:00, slept there on Friday and Saturday nights, and left on Sunday at 5:00. Forty eight hours straight and then five days off! It was sweet!
