"The Deadly Coast" is a series of five half-hour programmes. Each explores a shipwreck that has occurred around the coast of West Clare, its impact at the time, and the often far-reaching effects of the shipwreck down through history. These programmes were made with the assistance of the Sound & Vision scheme administered by the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland.
In this programme, the wreck of the Intrinsic of Liverpool is discussed, particularly the part it played in the development of modern day diving equipment and salvage. Paddy Nolan tells the tale.
