Playing tracks by

Nat King Cole, Chet Baker, Ray Noble Orchestra feat. Al Bowlly, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Costello (with Bill Frisell) and more.

Welcome to the fourth edition of A Miscellany of Tasteful Music. This is our Valentine's Day edition. Curl up with your loved one and enjoy these classics, or if you're alone, pour yourself a stiff drink (vodka and lime for me today), to keep you focused on the music.

I thank you kindly, Good Doctor!

The Lemon Circus

Listened, faved and enjoyed - problem being I'm on the new mixcloud and I have to get into a better habit - stashed this set into a playlist then I clicked play ALL, and the thing is you were played at the bottom of the screen which doesn't allow for comments and then simply moves on to the next one, so the ease of jotting down my musings has been lost :( Have a great weekend my friend

John Hartmann

Agreed. Unfortunately they care more about the looks than functionality.

Rudy Carrera

Seconded. This messaging system is horrible, and Mixcloud really needs to fix it. It's really impossible to maintain threads, to continue a conversation, or to learn much of anything here unless you're luck enough to also have another avenue for letting people comment (FB, the website, et cetera).

Rudy Carrera

Still, I thank you for the kind words. These are getting more fun as the days pass.
