Our motto is 'if it sounds good, it's on the show'. Russell Hill's Country Music Show plays tunes from across the genres. Americana, bluegrass, country rap, folk-country and pop country are the tip of the iceberg. Songs by artists from across the world are played on the show.

Live sessions are at the core of the show – to date, over 200 bands and artists have played live in the Express FM studio. Every session can be listened to again on this page.

I'm also a freelance writer and have many clients around the world, including the UK magazine "Maverick" which covers country, folk, roots, blues and Americana music. I have been a contributor since the December 2008 issue and have interviewed Bob Wootton, Amy Wadge, Derrin Nauendorf, Pete Christie and Bemis.
