Soundboard is WTJU's discussion program about news, culture, and community issues in the Charlottesville area. The Monday edition of Soundboard is hosted by Robert Packard and Grace Boyle. Each week's show includes local food, wine, and gardening segments with Megan Headley and Guinevere Higgins, as well as Central Virginia Legal Aid News.
This week, we talked about the cost effectiveness of DNA profiling, what it means to "flip the classroom," a new archaeological exhibit at the University of Virginia, and the C-Ville Weekly's Wine and Food Editor gave us the run down on Charlottesville's upcoming TWO Restaurant Weeks. We also aired an excerpt from Martin Luther King, Jr.'s speech "The Power of Persuasion" from 1957 and a Virginia Public Radio story on local workers who've had their wages withheld.
