We tackle the pressing issues of land reform, agriculture and the economy in Zimbabwe. What has been achieved in the years since the Africa APPG Report: Land in Zimbabwe-Past Mistakes and Future Prospects (2009) and the World Bank’s statement in 2008 that agriculture needs to be placed at the centre of the development agenda? Can Zimbabwe once again become the ‘breadbasket of Africa’?
Speakers: Na Ncube, The Global Native; Ian Scoones, University of Sussex. Chair: Shepherd Mutswiri, Funda.
