Two years on from the death of George Floyd, I visited New Orleans, Louisiana. I wanted to find out how people were feeling about the African American struggle in a black-majority area. I spoke to jazz musician Brian Wingard about jazz, race, the erasure and appropriation of black history and how seamlessly these strands intertwine.
