Walter Gavitt Ferguson - RAW PLEASURES Straight From The Legendary Tapes 1980-1995

More lost&found Calypsos from the King of low-fi home recording.
In 2020 the Walter Ferguson Tape Hunt unearthed over 50 hours of cassette recordings from Costa Ricas living legend, the calypsonian Walter Gavitt Ferguson (born 1919). These recordings date back to the 1980s and early 1990s and were collected by researcher Don Manuel Monestel. Thanks to a crowdfunding campaign, all tapes were digitalized for the Tape Hunt archive of the Ferguson family. A copy was handed over to the Biblioteca Nacional de Costa Rica in 2022. This is an outtake compiled by Rootsprovisionah.
