As is usual, the outgoing President does a lot of pardoning and commuting of sentences in the last days of the Presidency. Many of President Obama's pardons and commutations are of people serving time for rather lesser drug-related or tax-related offenses.
But, the commutation of Chelsea Manning's sentence has drawn a lot of attention.
Ronn feels the President over-reached in this case, making him wonder how President Obama wants to be remembered in terms of valuing national secrets and security.
