This is the first Sunday afternoon broadcast that Rob Noxious undertook for The Source 96.1FM - hear Rob try to explain to new listeners his distinct concept of 'linkage' between his musical selections, from the karaoke capers and punk rock rendition of 'Lazy Sunday' (as referenced via the much-missed Cornish Spingopunks, The Chutney Ferrets) to the tale of a gardener with a spinal curvature condition in 'Autumn Almanac.' Rob does his darnedest to keep it retro but occasionally succumbs to contemporary talents such as Jackie Leven, Chris Robson and his new favourite singer-songwriter on the block, Phil Burdett. There is a teaser for Clash fans about Alphabet City and an unusual song from one its erstwhile residents, Iggy Pop. All this and a salute to the Sandinistas too ... keep it 'Lyrical Retro'!
