Robert Macfarlane: nature, landscape and language

Kim Hill talks to Dr Robert Macfarlane, a Fellow of Emmanuel College, Cambridge, and Director of Studies in English. His first book, Mountains of the Mind (2003), and his second, The Wild Places (2007), both won awards and were adapted for television by the BBC. His most recent book, Landmarks, was shortlisted for the 2015 Samuel Johnson Prize for Non-Fiction.
