This edition of Sanskriti consists of an interview with Kathak dancer and choreographer, Sonia Sabri of Sabri Company.

Sonia talks about her inspiration, her new production, 'kaavish' and what Kathak means to her. Differences between various forms of kathak and dances between India and Europe are revealed by Sonia Sabri in this short interview.

The music interludes are from the production of Sabri Company: Red.

This week, London sees a festival of Huguenots in East London. This minority protestant community, escaped persecution from France in the 16th and 17th century and settled in Brick Lane and Spitafields area of East London.

It left indelible mark in the history of East London. We talk to Dan Cruickshank and Anthony Wilson about their presence and legacy in modern London.
