Ferry Corsten - Trance Nation CD1 (1999)

Playing tracks by

Robert Miles, System F, DJ Sakin & Friends, Storm, Underworld and more.

Ministry of Sound released a series of Trance Nation albums, to compete with the Euphoria series. This series was pretty good, but like the Euphoria series went downhill in later years. It was mixed by Ferry Corsten, who at the time was better known in the UK as System F and for his production, rather than DJing.

Though trance did it for me from the start, this was the first trance compilation I ever owned, coming to the rave scene somewhat late, recreational drugs and the British army not getting along so well, LOL. I'll always love it, though for me the best year for trance was 2002.

The best ever.
