Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Hates to be pigeonholed, knows no boundaries and plays soulful and groovy tunes from all over the world - it could be anything from African disco to Jamaican dub reggae, funky molam from north of Thailand or Malay psychedelic fuzz pop.
For the past years, Renry Hollins had the opportunity to tour South Asia, Europe, Japan, and of course Southeast Asia - playing songs that he love and believe in. As a DJ, he has played alongside Fulltono, Daniel Haaksman, Earl Gateshead, Kidkanevil, and Onra, to name a few. He also co-founded Public School, a collective with diverse styles and influences that aims to diminish barriers in music. When not DJing elsewhere, he curates the programming for music-focused event space called fono, and a cinema-turned-art hub called REX, both located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
Currently on a break to focus on side projects.
