Richard Stuverud was born in Seattle Wa. and began playing drums at very early age.
As the punk rock movement was underway in the northwest, Richard found himself playing in various bands, one of which was The Fastbacks. A great initiation with all things rock n roll...(like under age partying while opening up for The Ramones!).
In 1990, he signed his first record deal with Columbia recording artists War Babies.
While the mid 90's unfolded, Richard went on to play with Jeff Ament to form the group Three Fish, which released 2 records on Sony's Epic label in 1996 and 1999.
Staying in demand with session work and touring opportunities while working with various producers and songwriters, Richard has toured with artists Gary Allen in support of Rascal Flatts, (with an unknown taylor swift sharing the bill), as well as U.K. artists Paul Newsome and Proud Mary in support of the Police at the Isle of Wight festival.
