Back in December, Bo Ryan retired all of a sudden following a Badgers win and Greg Gard took over as the coach on an interim bases. On that December night it looked like the Badgers were going to miss the NCAA Tournament for the first time in a very long time. Upon taking over, Greg Gard switched back to the swing offense, the staple of the Bo Ryan led Badgers from when he took over until the back to back final four runs and things began to change for the Badgers and they ended up making the NCAA Tournament. The Badgers were not done there as they made a run to the Sweet 16 for the fifth time in six seasons. Unfortunately it ended in the Sweet 16 for the Badgers as they fell to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish 61-56 to end the magic run. In this episode of the Red Light Sports Ramble Evan will recap the Badgers loss and point to a few reason why the Badgers fell short and also recap the exciting season were the Badgers exceeded expectations and made a Sweet 16 run.
