Choice Mix – Joel Eel

Joel Eel is part of the Toronto collective and event series Forth, which has been throwing parties across the city for the past year. Recently they started their own imprint as a way to feature the diverse range of talent in the local scene. The first release features Joel Eel himself, with a slow techno roller called “This Invisible Phantom.” This year, Eel will self-release his second album, *Performing a Crime*, which is filled with love songs built for the dancefloor. In his Choice Mix, Eel works fragments of EBM, trance, industrial, acid and techno into something intense and emotional.
