Callum came in to an almost empty shop and left to an almost empty shop. In between though, he played a captivating set that had a real stamp of his personality over it. The music was gentle and elaborate, meditative at times yet never mournful, and there were a few tunes that got the customers over the counter asking to buy it, which of course wasn't going to happen.. At the top of my head I remember Robert Wyatt, Durutti Column and Gene Loves Ezebel in the early stages before he gently upped the tempo peaking with a fabulous edit of some obscure tune everyone would buy the world around if only it was available.. Take the time to listen, this is a great journey.
