My Life is a remake of portions of two different sets, one from 1975, the other in 1981, both produced on the Teac 3340. This version was made using Toast 11 and Peak Pro 7. The music is mostly pop rock and adult pop, with some oldies and singer-songwriter tunes mixed in. Sources are mostly CDs, MP3s, and a vinyl rip. Most will be recognizable to those familiar with this style of music, but there are a few unusual cuts. “Tecolote” from Bread’s 1972 Guitar Man album sure doesn’t sound like the Bread most of us know. In the mid-seventies, as a DJ, I would ask listeners to identify the band, and they never would guess Bread. “I Stayed Away Too Long” from Pousette-Dart Band’s 1978 3rd album was left off their greatest hits albums and, for whatever reason, that album was never released as a CD, so that’s the vinyl rip. I hope you enjoy the segues and the flow of the program.
