Another fine show, Randy!
.
Sorry to read that MC is getting weird on you.
I do have tips if you're interested...
.
For uploading, make sure you use MC friendly browsers like MS Edge, Firefox or Chrome.
I prefer .mp3 files @ 320 kBps for uploading.
You can tell your uploaded show is ready for track listing if you try to play it in the Mixcloud edit page and the entire blue bar slightly changes color, and you are able to click to the end of the bar to hear the last minutes of the show. If it's not allowing you to skip ahead farther than the first few minutes, then go do something else for 30 to 60 minutes. If still not able to skip to hear the end, then delete it and try re-uploading.
.
Be careful using the MC edit page to figure out the timestamps for the beginning of tracks. The page has a bug: if you scroll down far enough, the right side of your audio wave (the ending) will jump to the left and that will skew the time readout when you play the audio (which is what I've seen while listening to your shows and monitoring your track info).
I recommend getting your timestamps from your program that you mix with (easiest for me), or by playing your audio file in a media player on your PC. Then enter the information into the MC edit page.
.
Further down the rabbit hole...
I actually use Word to create a full track list of the show, with timestamps, that I can paste in the MC edit page in one shot. See the format below:
.
ARTIST OR BAND - SONG TITLE 0:00:00
Artist or Band - Song Title 0:00:00
ARTIST OR BAND - SONG TITLE 0:00:00
.
On the MC edit page, delete all auto populated track listings until the field is blank. Then you may paste your complete list into the field. Note: the first dash (-) is the character MC looks for to tell where the song title begins. If the artist's name has dashes in it, temporarily replace them with underscores and then after you paste the list in, change your underscores back to dashes. If a line has no dashes, then MC puts it in as a Chapter, which is sometimes fun for sending a message to the listener at the opportune moment.
.
One “last” trick: after the last song's start time, create a timestamp near the end of the show where there is only 2 or 3 seconds left; add whatever text information you want (it will be hidden anyway). This will allow the information for the last song to be displayed; essentially, MC requires an ending timestamp for the last track in order to display its info (a weird quirk, I know).
.
I'm sure if you start experimenting with all this, it will become clearer to you. But if you have questions, "don't hesitate to ask someone else first." (I think that's a Cobain lyric...)

well thanks for all that lhm i am aware and do use word for song lists but you took some things a step further for me so thanks. i found the problem was that my malware was bugging my virtual dj as i mixed live. so it was uploaded as such (bugged) i took care of that and just rerecorded the shows real time off of virtual dj and uploaded again. seems like i ironed out that aspect of the bug and things are back to good. thanks for listening lhm appreciate you vibe on my friend. rg.

Excellent show, RG: all killa, no filla. It played fine, no stopping or starting or freezing or anything.

man thanks johnny! you don't how much I've been dealing with trying to get these pups up and going. i think my malwarebytes assumed control including my virtual dj...i think. nevertheless, thanks for listening and getting back to me. randy

Johnny Switchblade

Oh, that sucks. I sometimes have problems here too, taking 3 hours to upload a show, etc. Hang in there.
