Mark James is an author, publisher, and wrestling historian. In addition to co-authoring autobiographies of wrestling notables such as Bill Dundee, Dutch Mantell, James Beard, Jerry Jarrett, and George South, he has also worked with Jim Cornette on a history of Memphis Wrestling merchandising. All told, he has 28 books currently published, included painstakingly researched (and highly informative) books on two of the pivotal years in Memphis Wrestling History 1977 and 1982.
Mark joins us tonight to talk about the personalities and events that helped shape one of, if not the most colorful and exciting of the old werstling territories. He also has news about a grass-roots movement to save the Memphis Coliseium from being torn down.
We'll also have more information on our listener contest, so be sure to tune in.
