"Through Different Eyes" will enable listeners to see their neighbourhood from a new perspective as 10 immigrants to West Clare talk about their experiences of living here.
At a time when emigration is again spoken of on a daily basis, it is interesting to hear from people who moved here over the past decade, but who remain here, despite the downturn in the economy and the changes the recession has brought to West Clare.
People from countries as diverse as the US, India, Poland, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Australia and Scotland, who all offer different and distinct reasons for coming to, and staying in, West Clare take part in this series. For some, the move over here opened up totally new opportunities and improved their work-life balance, whilst for others it has enabled them to do something completely different with their life.
Programme 1 features Richard Gair, from Wales, who tells us about how his hobby has blossomed at the West Clare Railway.
