All digital mix of old school UK hardcore ('91 - '94) tracks gathered from various known and nefarious sources. Hardcore in those days was really just hyper breakbeat tracks known for sped-up hip-hop samples, wooshy Juno synths, and bangy out-of-tune pianos -- in other words hamsters, hoovers (UK slang for a vacuum cleaner), and toy pianos.
Many of these were huge anthems in their day yet are still extremely hard to find, including the FSOL remixes of Unity, Rushing the House by Xenephobia, and Feef Logic (aka Unf*ckingbelievable) by Gordon Edge (aka Edge Records). To keep the mix fresh, I added several newly-discovered-to-me tracks that offer fresh takes on classic stabs and samples as well as a bunch of massive pre-jungle ragga breaks.
Mixed in Traktor. 142-154 bpm. 132 min.
