Taylor Report: Reading "Songs Upon The Rivers" Brings New Understanding of Role of French-Speaking C

The new book, Songs Upon The Rivers, The Buried History of the French-Speaking Canadiens and Métis from the Great Lakes and Mississippi across the Pacific (Baraka Books, Montreal) sheds new light on seminal events such as the Riel Rebellion. Poet Rob Rolfe wrote a poem making the link between the Rebellion and the Métis community of Owen Sound.
