There was a marriage that took place at Mt Sinai between Yeshua and his people, the House of Jacob. The record of the marriage vows are the Ten commandments, and when the people said “We will obey”, this was their “I do”. His bride immediately broke the marriage covenant at the golden calf incident. Yeshua had every right to divorce his bride and put her away, but His heart was so broken over this that He was willing to lay down His life on the tree for her so that the marriage relationship could be restored.
