Well, it wasn’t intentional, but ‘fate’ would have it that keyboardists would become a common thread on this week’s Deep Cuts! First up, we’ll have some new music from Steven Wilson keyboardist Adam Holzman and his Deform Variations CD.
Also on the program, I’ll have new music from ex Cardiacs keyboardist William D. Drake.
To supplement all of this keyboard nonsense, we’ll also have a very special Frank Zappa tribute, specifically to 1982’s vastly underrated Ship Arriving Too Late to Save a Drowning Witch LP. We’ll be visiting Side 2 which featured three of the trickiest, most progressive things ever attempted by a rock band.
Oh! And I have something else to share with you – newly released solo music from Mattias Olsson. Apparently this album was made something like 15 years ago and has been sitting on a shelf, unreleased!
All this and yes, there's more!
