In an ever-changing and polarised world, it’s important to get to the heart of the truth.
The Project for Public Interest Media bridges the gap between scholarship and the mainstream media. Our goal is to explore new ideas, share new research, settle debates, and communicate to the wider world in the clearest way possible – all in pursuit of understanding our society and our planet better.
Its web platform, theBigQ.org engages academics and thinkers from around the globe in an informed and intelligent dialogue that spans disciplines: science, economics, arts, politics, and history.
“We aim to elevate critical thinking, raise the level of public debate, and counter the trend towards soft news and fake news,” says the project’s founding director, political scientist Dr. Maria Armoudian. “We want to deepen understandings about our world so we can, as a humanity, solve big problems and answer big questions within and beyond the universities."
