David K. Ross (Visiting Researcher, Post-Image Cluster) will present the processes and materials relating to the formulation of his recent exhibition The Traces of Lost Facts at the Rice Media Centre, Houston. Taking its title from one of the earliest (540C.E.) known narrative description of surveying actives, The Traces of Lost Facts provided visitors to the exhibition with video, photographic and textual materials that were accumulated by Ross over the the four-year long process of making his film Théodolitique.
