This is Pat Coakley and episode 49 of Podsnacks the weekly edition of my dailyblog, www.artofthediet.com and today's episode is a bit of a rant about the tried and true ubiquitous phrase of needing to love yourself first before you can accomplish anything. In Kurt Vonnegut's parlance, I say, a little more common decency and a little less love might be the better suggestion to make to women struggling with weight issues.
Common decency toward themselves is an easier goal to accomplish than self love.
