We Need No Swords Episode 25: Cristián Alvear

Cristián Alvear is one of the foremost interpreters of contemporary composed music. He has recorded works by Jurg Frey, Radu Malfatti, Sarah Hennies, Michael Pisaro, as well as helping to bring composers such as Nicolas Carrasco and Santiago Astaburuaga to wider attention.

I spoke to Cristian over Skype from his home in Santiago de Chile and discussed his recent release on Caduc, And suddenly from all this there came some horrid music (with Gudinni Cortina), as well as some other highlights from his discography.

Tracklist in the comments.
Thanks to Steve Flato for post-production help.
