Richie Hawtin decided to revive his Plastikman project, commence a world tour that is still going on and dig up his most respected alias: the skeletal techno one, as deep as an oceanic trench and drenched in corrosive acid, that since 1993 has come under the umbrella of his own Plus8 imprint with the singles "Krakpot" and "Spastik" and the convincing treatise of elastic electronica, condensed on the album "Sheet One". Before the existence of the popular Richie Hawtin who divides his time and work between prestigious festivals like Sónar and beach parties on Ibiza, there was a dark, intense and highly experimental Richie Hawtin who, he admits, became buried beneath his more high profile persona. Many fans, he says, don’t know that Plastikman is his work too, which is the reason for a return that goes beyond the live show.
