It's the Jubilee weekend here in London, UK and we have an extended break in which to raise a glass to QE2; that's the Queen, not a second round of Quantitative Easing to rescue a rapidly failing economy. As ordained, the weather follows the strict tradition for public holiday weekends in the UK whereby the temperature plummets below the seasonal average and the sun is obscured by thick grey cloud that periodically converts to rain.
That is why we're such a musical isle, times such as these make us stay indoors and take a holiday to sunnier climes within our minds' eye with the aid of M.U.S.I.C. So come fly with me... to Rimini in Italy, circa the early 90s.
