Great mix! Particularly like the Five Thirty track in there at the end, blast from the past.
This mix came up as a recommendation through Mixcloud, probably because I put together a very similar mix recently - again, all from original vinyl. It's the first in a series of mixes in the baggy/madchester stylee. Let me know what ye think:

Good memories. Not sure how at a time when just the words 'remix by A Weatherall' meant a record was purchased that The Drum passed me by.

Andy Donald

This takes me back to your Lampeter disco days Pete!

Hello stranger! How are you?

Andy Donald

All good thanks - enjoying your mixclouds recently, makes me want to grow a floppy fringe! How's things in your world?

Pete Paphides

Good, thank you. Easing back into the swing after a low-key family Christmas. Are you on Twitter? I tried to look for you, but there are a lot of Andy Donalds to wade through!

Andy Donald

I'm a twitter lurker - my work means I have to be very careful what I say in public so best to resist the temptation of saying anything. I'll come find you and follow....

That's wonderful. Seeing the entry with the Purple Rain tracklisting made me wonder if this was your doing!

Andy Donald

Ha ha - you can always tell a real Prince fan - the intro to Purple Rain at any show is our cue for taking a sprinkle of our own!

Stephen Morris

"The Drum" by The Impossibles - now there's an under-rated track. Great selection but where oh where is "Big" by New FADs...? :-)
