Dogs and the science behind dogs: part 2

Dogs and the science behind dogs: part 2

Part 2 of our series on dogs! This week we debunk myths about pseudoscientific dominance training methods, discuss learning theories from behaviourist psychology, then cover behaviourist psychology prescribed dog training methods. Tons of talk about operant conditioning, classical conditioning, social learning theory, reward, punishment, & other awesome tidbits from behaviourism that together add up to the best possible way to manipulate people...and to train dogs and kids.

Also lots of ranting about what a stupid bastard "The Dog Whisperer" is, including around 50 research-backed reasons why he's setting dog training back 30 years. We systematically tear the dominance training system he advocates into tiny pieces using double Nobel Prize-winning research on behaviourism and comparative studies of behaviourist vs dominance training methods.

Final scoreboard:
Ex-head of the APA & 2 Nobel prize-winning scientists: 50
Some unqualified self-appointed expert douche on TV: 0
