When Joseph was younger he felt that he was very smart and that rules were merely suggestions meant for testing, if not for
breaking. He created a whole philosophy around shoplifting. That philosophy led to many detours and misadventures. The
first tenet in the philosophy of stealing is pretty simple -- don't get caught. A corollary to this first tenet is --if you do get caught, and you are able to, run like hell. Here's a story about Joseph's first insights into the very real consequences of stealing.
