CROW, The Church, Liam Finn, Mstt Langley, Matt Langley and more.
Crow were a brooding and explosive, and highly influential alternative band who were a fixture of Sydney's thriving music scene in the 90s. Featuring the song-writing partnership of Peter Fenton and Peter Archer, Crow existed from 1988-1999, before a 2007 reformation that is still running. Today on the show we feature two tracks from the powerful Steve Albini produced full-length 'My Kind Of Pain' (1993).
Matt Langley is surely one of the top current songwriting talents from New Zealand. Following the well-received 'Featherbones' LP and his award for best New Zealand country song for '7:13', Matt returns with his highly anticipated sophomore release, Virginia Avenue. Today we feature the band new singe from that soon-to-be released long-player.
And we wrap up the show with a few more tracks from the Safe Amplification Society compilation of 2012 that show-cases a range of top-notch Vancouver indie bands.
