For the opening celebration of HDTS 2022: The Searchers at the Palms in Wonder Valley, ODR organized a performance involving 8 artists scattered throughout various areas of the Palms—inside at the phonebooth, bar or piano, out in the field outside the Palms, seated amongst the audience, out near a trailer, etc—all engaging in various performances through text and music, then mixed all together for unpredictable collaborations by Ethan Primason, oscillating through the different channels to replicate the effect that you were browsing through various radio frequencies on a dial. We are so grateful to our creative community of collaborators and experimenters in the high desert, and an enormous thank you again to the eight performers who participated in the experimental collaboration - Andrew Storrs, Nathan Ober, Spencer Keizer, Elena Yu, Derek Monypeny, Emma Palm, Caroline Partamian, and Ethan Primason.
