The Power of Giving…Me
It is more blessed to give than to receive.
That is what the Son of Man has done: He came to serve, not to be served— Mark 10:45
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Make your acts of ‘good works’ visible like a shining light so people will honor God because of what they see in you.
But I’m Not Qualified (…and other lame excuses)
I’m an introvert.
Serving, ‘giving me’ is not my gift.
I’m too old! (or too young, or too tired)
Nobody wants me.
I’m far to good at receiving to give.
Let someone else do it.
I don’t have time.
I don’t want to be hurt by getting involved.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
“…anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve…. You don’t have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace
