Oregon's Untested Sexual Assault Kits

Oregon's Untested Sexual Assault Kits

Since a 2015 statewide audit revealed that Oregon had a backlog of thousands of untested sexual assault evidence kits, state agencies have been working to correct the issue. We get a progress report from Multnomah County’s Deputy District Attorney Amity Girt and the Oregon Attorney General’s Sexual Assault Task Force executive director Michele Roland-Schwartz.
