KPOO-FM On The Spot Interviews on Clean and Renewable Energy recorded March 22, 2016

Two interviews on Clean/ Renewable Energy for Communities of Color that aired March 22 2016 on the KPOO FM Radio-San Francisco On The Spot program hosted by KPOO News Director Harrison Chastang. The first interview is with Dr. Daniel Kammen, UC Berkeley Class of 1935 Distinguished Professor of Energy and founder/director of the UC Berkeley Renewable and Appropriate Energy Laboratory. The second interview is with Joel Espino, Legal Counsel for the Environmental Equity team at the Greenlining Institute. Both interviews address the importance of using solar and other Clean/Renewable energy sources and transportation options for underserved communities, and ensuring that members of the community are informed about the impact of Climate Change and Clean/Renewable energy will have on their communities, and that community members have a role in decisions regarding Clean/Renewable energy policies The interview was in conjunction with a partnership between New America Media and PG&E.
