The Georgia Film Industry Fights To Keep Tax Incentives

Georgia’s tax credits have brought nearly 80-thousand jobs to the state and more than four billion in wages. But the incentive program now has a powerful enemy. The group Americans for Prosperity, backed by the Koch Brothers, is lobbying to strip film producers of their tax breaks. They say it is unfair for the industry to come in and use state resources without paying their due.
