Iowa is having a skill player renaissance, led by quarterback Nate Stanley and tight ends Noah Fant and T.J. Hockenson, who were named co-tight ends of the week by the Mackey Award, which goes to the nation’s best tight end at the end of the year.

Kinnick will be a wind tunnel on Saturday. Maryland likes to run the ball. Really, Maryland isn’t all that interested in passing. It really, really wants to run the ball.

Iowa is going to have to throw some hammers to get through this one. The Hawkeyes’ next three games – Maryland, at Penn State, at Purdue – will have a lot to say about where you’ll regard the 2018 season.
