Series: Esther: A Royal Audition
Esther 2: 1-20
The Old Testament book of Esther is arguably the most unique book in the Bible. Of course, every book is unique in its own way, but Esther is the only book in the Bible that does not mention the word God. In fact, it makes no reference at all to the law of God, or the word of God, or even to spiritual things. Yet, it is entirely about the sovereign and mysterious will of God in all things. The book of Esther is a thrilling dramatic story. It is filled with twists and unexpected turns, each one ultimately by the design of our great and mighty Lord.
