This week on The Night Shift, Al Capo and Adam Bianchi from alternative rock outfit Stuck.On.Planet.Earth stopped by to talk about their new EP, “Play Along”, and to dig into a bountiful spread of music. Topics we touched on included: Why I hate Sting and why they love him (Stewart Copeland’s a G), why Vaughan has to do SOMETHING about their nonexistent local arts/music scene, and how Frank D’Angelo is the most mysterious man in Toronto. Along the way, we played music from artists such as the proggy-tribal-gospel-folk rhythms of Bruce Peninsula, the funky psychedelic Turkish rock grooves of Beyaz Kelebekler, classic jazzy, ambient hip-hop from Slum Village, and lots more of that good stuff. Ch’mon!
